Park rules


To ensure everyone’s enjoyment please observe these simple Park rules.

  • Please keep dogs on leads at all times and exercise them in the area adjacent to the Camping Field.  
  • Please use the dog bins provided. 
  • Clothes lines are not permitted.
  • Please confine ball games to the Recreation Areas provided. 
  • Please use the sinks provided in the Toilet Areas for washing-up and Laundry.  
  • Please do not take hot water from the Laundry Room or Toilets. 
  • Please observe Swimming Pool rules as displayed at the Swimming Pool entrance.
  • Please use bins provided for all litter and wrap all wet refuse (tea leaves etc) in bags before placing in bins. 
  • Please note that the electricity supply on the park is 10 amp only and will not run household kettles. For everyone’s convenience please do not overload.
  • Please do not play music or instruments after l0pm or before 8am.
  • All public buildings and accommodation at Newlands are non smoking.
  • Only food and drink purchased in the Tow Bar can be consumed in the complex.
  • Newlands has an access statement for partially abled customers. 
  • Guests are kindly reminded not to leave valuables lying around unattended and to report any theft to staff and the local Police.
  • Departure time for all accommodation is by 10.30am on day of departure. Lost keys will be charged at £15.00.

LAUNDRY at both toilet blocks.

TOILET BLOCKS - are non smoking. We endeavour to keep our toilets clean. Your help to maintain these standards would be appreciated. Please accompany children.

PLEASE REMEMBER Electricity supply is 10 amp on Seasonal, Red and Black Grass pitches. 16 amp on Hardstanding and Premium.

BARBECUES Whilst we have no objection to the use of Barbecues, we request that they are kept to a min of 12” above the ground. Pit fires/open fires are not allowed.  Be especially mindful in hot weather. Ensure coals are fully extinguished with water before disposing.

TENTS & CARAVANS Please ensure that the jockey wheel or the middle of your unit is located on the slab marking the pitch number. Failure to comply with this request will result in you having to re-pitch. No sideways pitching. No gazebos in the high season.

Please note, the fire alarm in the main complex will be tested on Thursday afternoon
THE FIRE ASSEMBLY POINT is on the right hand side of the car park by the touring field entrance

THE SPEED LIMIT on the Park is 10 mph. Please remember that this is a Family Park.

CARBON MONOXIDE the invisable killer. Safety awareness in tents and Awnings: Carbon monoxide is poisonous, colourless, tasteless and odourless. It is produced when carbon (including gas, wood, oil, or barbeque coals is burned with insufficient oxygen to produce carbon dioxide. Carbon monoxide poisoning happens when the gas is breathed in, even at very low levels. It can be fatal.

  • Never take a portable barbeque, lit charcoal or a camping stove into an enclosed space like a tent, caravan awning, or camping pod, either for warmth or to cook
  • Make sure camping lights and stoves are clean and properly adjusted to manufactures specifications
  • Ensure all barbeques, camping lights and stoves are fully out before going to bed

CAR CHARGING Charging of electric vehicles is only permitted at our charging points located by the pool entrance. Charging elsewhere can cause our power supply to become unstable.

  • Larger items can be taken to Bridport Recycling Centre just off the A35 in Bridport. DT6 5LB.
 
Help the environment
Mixed recycling points situated around the Park (see map). Large items can be taken to Bridport recycling centre on the A35.
  • Save water and energy
  • Switch off lights & heating when not in use
  • Don’t overfill kettle
  • Report dripping taps
  • Limited toilet blocks open in low season
  • Please return unused linen to Reception

 

The success of your holiday is important to us.

If you have any problems with your accommodation please report these to Reception immediately. 
Reception is open from 8.30am - 7pm daily. Maintenance staff are on duty from 8.30am - 4.00pm.

Any problems reported on leaving the Park cannot be properly investigated or rectified for you.

Tow Bar is open until late and if closed there are emergency numbers on the door.
Shop opening times from 8.30am daily, closing times will vary.
